One Year Ago, We Held Her.....

It's hard to believe one year ago today, we met and held our daughter for the first time. This year has been such a joy for us, and the time went by too fast! God is amazing and every day I am humbled that He chose Dan and I to be the parents of this beautiful, wonderful child. I am also reminded of the extreme decision her birthmother made for Avery, what faith and sacrifice. We are forever grateful for her and find comfort that along her journey she came to know God, and one day we will all be rejoicing together in heaven.
