Avery turned 17 months old yesterday. Time has gone by so fast, she is growing like a weed. She can repeat most colors, animals, and animal noises when she's in the mood. She loves books and music. When she really wants something, she'll do the sign for "please". We just started trying to potty train (thanks to Great-Grandma Maxine - she said her kids were trained by age 1!- we were up to attempt it too!). After 5 sits on the potty yesterday, finally at bedtime we heard "tinkle tinkle". Mommy and Daddy did the "Pee Pee in the Potty" dance, Avery got a potty trophy and put a sticker on her chart. I know it will take a while, but why not start now?
