Yesterday was our first "official" warm summer day! We could actually wear shorts and we got hot outside! Dan took the day off (3 day weekend - yeah!), and we went on a walk around our neighborhood before heading to hike at Salamonie. Avery did great, she loves the grass and leaves. We got a little hot, and first-time mom mistake, I forgot a hat and sunscreen. So it was a short trip at Salamonie, but still fun. Then we got back and daddy took us around the block on his lawn mower and trailer. Avery was waving to everyone and everything, I think she would do great in a parade! Praise God that the beautiful weather is finally here!
